Exploring the Gardens of Kauai

It's called the garden island and for good reason. Kauai has several stunning island gardens for visitors to enjoy! From botanical gardens to mahogany forests, enjoy the beautiful greenery of Kauai's North Shore at this must-see spots.


Limahuli Gardens

Limahuli Gardens-Located on the North Shore just outside of Hanalei, Limahuli Garden and Preserve highlights native and culturally-significant species in an authentic Hawaiian landscape. Limahuli offers both self-guided and guided tours of their grounds.


Allerton Garden

Located on the South Shore of Kauai, Allerton Garden is a National Tropical Botanical Garden, offering both guided and sunset tours.


McBryde Garden

Also located on the South Shore, McBryde Garden is located in the historic Lawa'i Valley. A National Tropical Botanical Gardne, McBryde Garden is home to the largest ex situ collection of native Hawaiian flora in existence.


Na Aina Kai Botanical Gardens, Sculpture Park and Hardwood Plantation

Na Aina Kai is a breathtaking botanical garden and sculpture park. Reservations are required--you can book a guided tour here.


Princeville Botanical Gardens & Kauai Chocolate Garden Tours
